Originating from the prompt, Fathom, in Dave Madden's songwriting group, I dug deep into a relationship on the verge of falling apart. I want to take you inside the head of one of the partners fighting with everything they have to get their love back on track. The almost choral repetitive A section is a mantra or affirmation for the fight she is taking on to heal the relationship, while the haunting and passionate B section highlights the damage and solution to getting through it. I love how my voice becomes one with Emily's on this title track.
