Another word prompt from the Dave Madden Song Group, Chimera was written for Rue and Jules of the show, Euphoria. It examines a relationship that is destined for complications, deep love and deep hurt, where both partners aren't really seeing the truth within and are still undeniably drawn to each other. Chimera is a fire-breathing female monster with a lion's head, a goat's body and a serpent's tail. It also means "a thing that is hoped or wished for, but in fact is illusory or impossible to achieve."
