We have wanted to cover this Kim Carnes song from the Flashdance soundtrack for a while now. It wasn't about completely rethinking it, but more about creating a modern, softer, hypnotic version. I would never try to out-sing Kim Carnes, so this approach was the way to go. The lyrics seem to reflect our year, not being able to be with someone in person but still carrying them with you. We hope you enjoy it!
