ALL ABOUT LOVE (Noëlle Hampton/Lizzy Lehman) Every word can leave a mark Like a tattoo or a battle scar Go gentle on our ever fragile souls Everyone stand sided by side Look your neighbor in the eye Toss away your sorrows, let it go When it comes down to it, it’s all about love When you break it down, it’s what we’re in search of When it comes down to it, it’s all about love When you break it down, it’s what we’re all made of From a dark time to the sunshine We’re stepping out to clear our minds We’re moving past the tears that rained too long Now’s the time to redesign And put your heart on the frontline On the line (on the line) On the line (on the line) When it comes down to it, it’s all about love When you break it down, it’s what we’re in search of When it comes down to it, it’s all about love When you break it down, it’s what we’re all made of It’s what we’re made of oooh… Don’t waste my time if you can’t do it, if you can’t do it, if you can’t do it Don’t waste my time if you can’t do it, if you can’t do it, if you can’t do it, do it do it When it comes down to it It’s all about love, all about love, all about love, all about………… When it comes down to it, it’s all about love When you break it down, it’s what we’re in search of When it comes down to it, it’s all about love When you break it down, it’s what we’re all made of When it comes down to it It’s all about love, It’s all about love, it’s all about love When you break it down, it’s all about love When you break it down, it’s all about love

Unspoken 03:51
UNSPOKEN (Noëlle Hampton) You collected me A pretty thing for all to see But you were never what I’d hoped you be She always had your love It’s a bitter thing That you break my one unbroken wing And sever every single heartstring One by one by one It’s over now, I knew somehow I’d rise from a life unspoken We burned it down to save ourselves And mend our hearts so broken If I could sweat you out I would have danced until there was no doubt All I dreamt of was to breakout ‘Cause she always had your love I tried everything Just ‘cause they say it doesn’t make you king And I was left without a working wing You took them one by one It’s over now, I knew somehow I’d rise from a life unspoken We burned it down to save ourselves And mend our hearts so broken I’ll admit that I was naive for a time I wish I could have drawn a stronger line But you were always hers and never mine Truth comes out in time. It made you insane That all they cared about was my name ‘Cause I was love and you were deep shame They left you one by one It’s over now, I knew somehow I’d rise from a life unspoken We burned it down to save ourselves And mend our hearts so broken When I look back now, I knew somehow I’d rise from a life unspoken We burned it down to save ourselves And mend our hearts so broken

Crush 04:15
CRUSH (Noëlle Hampton) You don’t know this illness In your room in the stillness Deep in devotion, seduced by emotion You’re whipped up like candy You can’t eat a damn thing You think about the one you desire You feel like your heart is on fire Oooh, (CRUSH) you feel like you’re dying You’re just sick with love Oooh, (CRUSH) you wake up crying You’re just sick with love Like a swell in the ocean You get sick from the motion of love, of love Your pulse is erratic Your mind is ecstatic You can’t remember words that were said You dream about their lips, cherry red You’re ravaged from wanting Exhausted from longing You think about the one that you crave You slip into another heat wave Oooh, (CRUSH) you feel like you’re dying You’re just sick with love Oooh, (CRUSH) you wake up crying You’re just sick with love Oh your heart’s fast beating You just sick with the feeling of love, of love Don’t fight what you can’t fight You’re sick with love Sick with love Sick with love Oooh, (CRUSH) you feel like you’re dying You’re just sick with love Oooh, (CRUSH) you wake up crying You’re just sick with love Like a swell in the ocean You get sick from the motion of love, of love

Diamond Eyes 04:18
DIAMOND EYES (Noëlle Hampton) For the record I don’t feel so good right now I’m a wreck, I’m completely hollowed out It’s been ages since I felt like me But when you come around you make me see I can get a glimpse of what I used to be, through your eyes When you see me through your diamond eyes, I’m invincible When you see me through your diamond eyes, I’m invincible This thing between us is a beautiful, blinding light Reflecting everything in and out of sight There are moments I don’t feel deserving And in myself you can tell I’m searching So you show what I really need to see, though your eyes When you see me through your diamond eyes, I’m invincible When you see me through your diamond eyes, I’m invincible Diamond Diamond Diamond (When you see me through) When you see me through your diamond eyes When you see me through your diamond eyes When you see me through your diamond eyes, I’m invincible When you see me through your diamond eyes, I’m invincible When you see me through your diamond eyes, I’m invincible When you see me through your diamond eyes, I’m invincible

THE BLOODLINE (Noëlle Hampton) It’s you and me baby Left here standing alone A lifetime of memories Lived out in flesh and bone Nobody cares, no one remembers We left our mark in the smoldering embers Step to the edge and wait for the great unknown It’s the end of the bloodline It’s been a party and we’re feeling fine It’s the end of the bloodline Let’s burn it down, we’re getting out in time Staying up late playing music ’til a quarter of three There’s nothing to regret, it’s always been just you and me So many people living back to back We’ll leave our songs, you can remember us from every track I gotta say this world is getting just a little crazy Now it’s the end of the bloodline It’s been a party and we’re feeling fine It’s the end of the bloodline It’s over now you know we’ve had our time It’s just you and me baby Left here standing alone Step to the edge Wait for the great unknown Now it’s the end of the bloodline It’s been a party and we’re feeling fine It’s the end of the bloodline We did our thing and now we’re out of time It’s the end of the bloodline It’s been a party and we’re feeling fine It’s the end of the bloodline Let’s burn it down, we’re getting out in time

about

Synth-pop quintet The Belle Sounds have been called “one of the best pop bands in Austin” (Austin American Statesman), “Best New Band” (Austin Chronicle) and have their own day named after them in their hometown, but the band and its husband-wife core of Noëlle Hampton and André Moran have never been content to rest on their laurels. 2020 had them releasing one song per month, and making good use of the grant awarded to them by the local non-profit Black Fret by creating videos and new content. Additionally, their new releases garnered them a coveted spot on The Austin American Statesman’s Best of 2020 list, a KUTX Song Of The Day and a song land in the hit Netflix Show, Outer Banks.

On August 20, 2021, The Belle Sounds will release their new EP, ALL ABOUT LOVE, As the new year arrived, the couple was creatively exhausted after working in the studio nonstop during the worst of the pandemic. Hampton was lonely for her friends, depressed from the negative physical and emotional changes and ready to see things change for the positive, as many were. At the same time she was still riding the amazing wave of inspiration that had unfolded in 2020, so when her yearly writing group started back up on January 1st, she dove right back in.

As she began to produce the new tracks, following the rhythms and synths that lead to the stories, she realized she was writing about love, in all different forms but all linked by our human nature and connection, something that had been vastly missing for all of us in 2020. From first crushes to Princess Diana's tragic relationship to personal songs about Hampton and Moran's relationship, to our need to come together and choose love and kindness again after such a divisive time, it really was all about love.
